Slot Machine Tournament Champions Hints

by Gabrielle on Thursday, June 14th, 2018

There are dedicated slot gamblers who continuously hold fast to what is judged by a few to be the unspoken "slot competition circuit". This group of slot machine tournament chasers tend to show up for Hollywood Casino’s slot tournament event and then a few weeks later, you usually will encounter them at a competition at the Grand Casino in Tunica. While there are only a small number of these gamblers who regularly participate, the prize pool keeps them focused on playing in slot machine tournaments.

Quite a few of the best maintained tricks remain with these people but there are a few hints that you should "figure out" on your own. For instance, if you observe a familiar slot machine competition gambler, you may see that they do not drink immediately prior to playing a tournament because it hampers their reflexes. A number of gamblers use two hands to play the tournaments and regularly hit the spin button to try and catch as many hits on the payline as possible.

Many of the "winners" will stand, not sit throughout the tournament, so they have greater oomph to "put behind" the pushing of the button countless instances. There are other "tricks" a number of these Champions of the Slot Competitions use, but we may never know what they could be unless we track a couple of them very close as they are not recognized for sharing them freely.

A good many slot machine gamblers believe there is power in numbers and if they gamble with a significant other they question a slot employee how much action is needed to be "accepted" in to the invitational events.

Even though it might not seem to be something you are wanting to engage in, however special "invitation only" events are able to guarantee you a position where the big prize is into the tens of thousands of dollars. It’s worth looking into to have a shot at the large cash prizes these tournaments provide.

Slot Machine positioning

Volumes have been set forth on this matter, and the bickering and face-offs about where the "hot" slots are placed in a casino are still intense – more than 60 yrs after the slots were first installed in the casinos.

The classic rule is that the best slot games were installed just inside the main entry of the casino; so that potential players passing by would see actual jackpot winners and be tempted to come into the casino … play. Our stance is that this is no longer true.

Many of the major casinos nowadays are humongous complexes … you no longer can see inside from the sidewalk, so there’s no longer a reason to put the ‘loose’ slot machines near any doors.

Another standard rule is that loose slots are positioned on the major aisles inside the casinos, again so that more fun seekers could see winning jackpots and be roused to play. Interestingly though, we find that this also isn’t a universal rule any more.

What casinos found over the years is that people walking down the busy aisles were frequently on the way to somewhere else. If they played slots at all, they would simply put in their loose change because they happened to be walking by. Win or lose, they would very often not stop to keep playing. And the very last thing a casino wants is for someone to win a jackpot by playing only a few coins and then not stay to put it all back in!

Today, casinos are constantly changing their perspective about where to place the loose one armed bandits.
